"Take A Seat" by Frank Chaves is a work in two sections for five men manipulating folding chairs. The interest here is Chaves' kinetic invention as his dancers wind their arms and legs through these unwieldy metal objects, often rapidly and with apparent risk to themselves and others.
A special thank you to the dancers for their wonderful talent and creative input in the development of this piece. It was a truly collaborative effort.
