The Sweetest Sounds is dedicated to Jo Hopkins Deutsch for her lifelong, generous commitment to the arts.

The Sweetest Sounds was commissioned by Dance Affiliates and PENN Presents as part of their annual Dance Celebration program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.  The work was first performed April 10, 2003 in the Center’s Zellerbach Theatre.  Additional support for The Sweetest Sounds provided by Barry and Cookie Stagman.
